Starting Over... again. No really.
Okay so this is me starting over... again.
Every time I do this over, I'm like "This is it! I'm finally getting to start this and stick with it this time!"
But every time I kinda just pander off and forget.
BUT this time It's FO REAL!

It's kinda like an emotional cool down and I really feel better after I blog, so yeah.

Black History Month- A lesson in Life
Okay...
So call me non-conformist but i really don't like Black History Month. Not that I don't appreciate our history and all that we have/ had accomplished, I just think that we should celebrate all history and focus on this just this one month.
HOWEVER I do believe in equality within all genres of people. Whether it be races, sexualities, religions whatever. We all have a right as a people; As Homo Sapiens to be able to express ourselves and be who we are without penalty (within the law of course)
So that's why when this guy who I know said that he doesn't believe in inter-racial dating I was confused and more than a little pissed. He claims that he's not a racist ("okay... a little" he said) but that two different races shouldn't be together and procreate. It was shocking. Baffling that he wouldn't even consider dating someone who wasn't his own "color"
A girl could be the greatest thing on this earth to him: his Soulmate and he would miss out because she just happened to be Latino, Iranian, balck or and race but white. He's written off his happiness because she wasn't the right color.
it was disturbing to say the least.
It's also a realization to how far we have to go in order to have racial equality, which I don't think that we will be able to achieve in a long time.
And for that reason I do understand why we need a Black History Month. But we probably need other (Insert race here) History Months too.
P.S to all you bastards who cry out "Jews had it worse" who's comparing? I'm not. They should all be remembered as black spots in our history and we should try our hardest not to let it happen again. Which is why you all need to get involved with STAND

Start Again... Again
So once again I have abandoned this little online diary of sorts until I saw my friend post something of his...
Sorry.
Again.
Do people actually read this? It's sort of just a timeline for myself I guess.
Well.
In that time I've been away. I found henna (smells delish btw), music (the good kind) and bellydance!
Wowza do I love bellydance. It's so liberating and freeing and when done right not the least bit trashy. It's an expression of your body. I love the isolations that prossionals can come up with an dthe routines are to die for. Hopefully one day I can get that good.
I also realized that I want to do a lot of things with my life: Acting, fashion design, bellydance... Model? I dunno. I seem kind of scattered and with senior year coming to a close and college rearing it's ugly little (okay... not so little) head, I feel a bit under pressure.
I think all that's left for my to do is just start again. Again. and again....
P.S I want to make this a daily thing but... eh who knows?

My Life My Way
Summer is almost over and it's kind of sad, but it's a relief also. I'll be back on a schedule that I kind of missed.
My career is finally taking off, and I'm now in a non exclusive contract with an agency based in North Carloina who represent talent all over the south. I'm so thankful and want my life to be a success so that my dad will finally be super proud of me.
I'm also looking for an agency in my area for more commercial work.
I was also invited to go to Japan and Italy (the former in the summer the latter during Spring Break). And I have to get a job to pay for it :D
Summer is over but the fun has JUST begun.

New Things Come our Way
Hey,
So I've been taking a bit of a break fro technology and seeking out some self revelations and other junk :P
I'm focusing on so many things that it's really hard to keep everything straight! I'm writing a book, doing my henna thing, and now I'm doing jewelry stuff again. And then there's Virtual school. We have a love-hate relationship... That is: Little love and lots of Hate. I'm behind and doing little about it, so yeah...
I just need to refocus myself ande get things done!
On the upside I'm trying to start a beauty Youtube page, it'll have pretty much EVERYTHING. I just need to find some receipes (sp?) that work and a lot fo them too!
I'm trying to find an agent and a new monologue for this HUGE contest. There's a whole lot of trying going on. I'm saving up money fora new hair-do (it's like the Black and White photo from the blog post before)
AND I'm setting up a MASSIVE photoshoot in late July.
PLUS I might be in a runway show for a jewelry line, which I'm uber excited about.
One down side (or plus... depends on how you look at it) My insomnia is roaring back at full force... I'm pullling ultra weird hours with little to no sleep. I'm having headaches all day BUT now I have a ton of time to do all (or most) of what I need to do. So yeah *Thumps Up*

Summer Auditions, Mean Girls 2, and just STUFF!
So things have been slowing down lately... It's like week 1 of summer and I'm ALREADY bored (... I never thought I'd say that)
Rumor has it that there have already been callbacks for the principle roles in Mean Girls 2 so that's been bumming me out, but who knows they're only rumors.
Right now I'm trying to save up money to get some copies of my headshots because I REALLY need to send them to some agencies. I think it's finally time to take it up another notch and finally take the steps needed (and get a PAYING job) so I can start saving up for my month long excursion to L.A Cali.
I'm also looking for a new hair style... well I already found it and in the process of convincing my mom. I had it once for the Runway show I did back in October and it's so versatile and unique I think it'll help to make me stand out...

ANYWAY!
So It's summer and I have SUMMER GOALS!
-Get five new subs a day on Youtube
-Get 200 followers on Twitter
-Get an AGENT
-Book one paying job this Summer
-Get a new Look
-Do my Summer Homework
Hopefully some of these will actually get done!
